Man, I'm falling behind on my DeviantArt duties.  I'd just like to say that I appreciate all of the comments folks have made, and the art that has appeared on people's favourites over time.  I'm sorry I haven't gotten around to thanking you all individually.  I'll try to do better. :)

I don't know about where you live, but the weather's been rather disturbing as of late.  It hit 70 degrees today and it has caused me to question my calendar.  Now, last time I checked I lived in the NORTH east United States and so the temperature should be much closer to some sort of frigidity.  This all plays in nicely into my theory that humanity destroyed the Earth and some aliens that happened to be wandering past our solar system noticed the boo-boo and spent about six or seven months putting everything back together piece by piece.  Of course, they had to put the Earth back in its proper orbit to avoid a nasty gravitational folly down

As this year comes to a close, I began to envision myself at the bottom of a tunnel and the levels above me were all of the days that had gone by this year stacked like books, and above them lay all of the years that came before.  The image of a tunnel evoked darkness and a lonely dig towards the inevitable.  Then I took a look back at the twists and turns through which this year has taken me, and I realized that I should not be carrying my days upon by back like some burden, but instead be sitting atop the highest branch of a growing oak leading me ever upwards to the heavens and beyond.
